Multidisciplinary creative collective. Sustainable design and arts focus by day, roving bicycle gang by night — operating out of Toronto, Vancouver and New York City.

As a founding member, I was involved in various typography, design, and illustration projects for the collective, including our logo design, the creation of our two fonts, various apparel designs, and collaborating on the DNS line of bike lights for Sweden's Bookman Urban Visibility.

I was also heavily involved various art installations, including the creation of our multimedia sculptures ‘The Fabric Bike’ and ‘The Paint Bike’. I also filmed and edited two short films that screened worldwide across 32 cities, via the International Bicycle Film Festival and the Veloreel Film Festival.

The Deadly Nightshades hosted various art and cycling events through The Drake Hotel in Toronto. We also participated in art exhibits at the Gladstone Hotel and Nuit Blanche in Toronto, and the Spencer Brownstone Gallery in New York City. My personal works hung in Dash Gallery in NYC and through Art Crank in Las Vegas.

What made this experience great?

Great is an understatement to define my years involved with DNS. While this collective may have started as an inside joke, it quickly became a creative force, that pushed and defined my artistic practices for the better part of a decade. I consider myself lucky to have collaborated with so many driven and talented women, who remain a constant source of inspiration and also my friends.
